The Agrippa Deaf Alert, designed by Geofire, is a digital, vibrating pillow alarm that alerts the deaf and hard of hearing in the event of a fire in their home. The Deaf Alert uses ‘listening’ technology to wake adults and children if the supplied smoke alarm sounds while they are sleeping. Upon hearing the smoke alarm, the high intensity LED lights flash, the LCD screen will display the word “FIRE” and the pad, which is placed under the user’s pillow, will vibrate to alert the user.
The Deaf Alert offers a compact and portable solution with an alarm clock function. The unit is mains powered with a backup battery supply, offering a flexible and reliable solution to give peace of mind to those who are deaf or hard of hearing. A smoke alarm is supplied as standard.
