 Silent Alert's SignWave Receiver for both Deaf and Hard of Hearing people uses on-board strobe, variable sound frequencies, and incoming alert symbols to notify the user to an event. The unit is light weight and fully portable with a rechargeable battery.

Each event has a unique sound to help the user to identify the different alerts. A volume and frequency setting can be altered to suit an individuals requirements. For night time alerting, when sleeping, the SignWave is placed in its bedside charger base and a vibrating pillow pad, supplied separately, will operate to help wake the user when a signal is received.
