Their qualified staff can meet with you to ascertain whether you qualify for funding from the Ministry of Health or for a system to be installed by Housing New Zealand.
If you do not qualify for either funding pathway mentioned above, they will be able to advise you as to the most appropriate options available to you.
Work & Income (Advance Payment of Benefit)
If you are getting a benefit and have an immediate need for something essential you may be able to get an advance payment of your benefit.

The Ministry of Education provides assistive technology services that support and guide staff and specialists working directly with students.
Workbridge Training & Job Support
Workbridge administers Support Funds on behalf of the
Ministry of Social Development. This funding is available to help with any additional costs directly relating to a person's disability when entering or retaining a job, entering training, or commencing self employment.
The NZ Federation for Deaf Children has an application form for Assistive Devices to assist in the purchasing of equipment. Click on their logo and download their application form.
